- Business consultations can range from business coaching to promotional material design including website development to the design, implementation, and evaluation of a new medical or healing arts practice.
- Amy's services are quite comprehensive and diverse and are tailored to the unique needs of each practitioner and organization. Amy successfully consults with long-distance clients in both the US and Canada.
- Amy offers a free 30 minute phone consultation to determine the suitability of her skills and services for the needs of each potential client. Please contact Integrative Wellness Associates to establish a phone appointment.
- Amy's business consulting services are on a contract basis with her fee structure built on a $70 hourly rate for all of her services, which include practice development & planning, administrative systems & problem solving, and marketing design including website development. Please see the service packages described below.
- A $500 retainer fee is required to establish the consulting relationship. From that point forward, clients are billed with an itemized invoice for consulting hours on a retainer basis over the course of the consulting process. Checks and credit cards are accepted.
New Business Development Package
- This package is designed for physicians and practitioners who are developing a new business from the ground floor by either transitioning out of the traditional healthcare system or commencing a new health & healing practice.
- This package is the most comprehensive involving all aspects of business development & planning, administrative processes, and marketing. The New Business Development Package transforms a client's initial business idea to an efficient, effective, and functional business over the length of twelve months.
- This package contains the following components:


* 3 Strategy Meetings per month.




* Indepth assessment of immerging business goals.




* Business model development including strengths & weaknesses.




* Mission & vision development.




* Fee structure, income projections, and expense-revenue analysis.


* Administrative Process Design:




* Front office protocols, procedure manual, scheduling & staffing.




* Client forms, record keeping design, follow-up & evaluation surveys.




* Assistance in contracting an EMR system if appropriate.




* Staff training for procedures and website software.




* Marketing image development including tagline & graphics.




* Community demographic review.




* Development of targeted marketing plan & budget.




* Business card, brochure, and poster design.




* Local & national network building.




* Press packet & local media strategies.




* Functional design offering administrative tools utilizing Homestead.




* On-line forms for intake, scheduling, and event registration.




* On-line payment functions through PayPal.




* Integration of client's image including color scheme & images.




* Custom pages unique to the needs of the client.




* Assistance with text editing.
- This package is designed for physicians & practitioners who have a current health & healing business and who desire to optimize business strategies, enhance efficiency & effectiveness of administrative systems, improve problem solving strategies, and increase sales through media & marketing visibility over the length of ten months.
- This package contains the following components:


* 3 Strategy Meetings per month.




* Business Analysis & Support:




* Indepth assessment of current business operations and strategies.




* Analysis of current business model strengths & weaknesses.




* Analysis & strategies for fee structure, revenue sources & expenses.




* Review of past business plans or contracted studies/assessments.




* Mission & vision refinement.


* Administrative Process Design:




* Assessment & improvement of current office procedures & policies.




* Problem solving business management issues.




* Maximize patient/program scheduling for capacity goals.




* Staff interviews for administrative efficiency & effectiveness.




* Analysis & improvement of client follow-up & satisfaction.




* Record keeping review & assistance in contracting EMR system.




* Staff training for newly established procedures and policies.




* Marketing image, graphics, & tagline review/redesign if appropriate.

- This package is designed for physicians & practitioners that have a current health & healing business that is functioning well, but are in need of additional business management support, problem solving, and improved marketing strategies to maximize their business potential and profits.
- This package is also appropriate for clients that have completed the New Practice Development Package or Business Transformation Package to ensure continued business success.
- This package format consists of consulting time in the form of regular business coaching meetings focused on maximizing business efficiency & profits, generating new clients, problem solving business management issues, implementing improved marketing strategies, network building, and program development & improvement. Meeting minutes are supplied following each business coaching consultation.
- This package is designed for physicians, healing arts practitioners, and health & healing businesses that have clearly defined business processes and marketing materials that need to be converted and designed into a website format.
- This package focuses primarily on graphic design and building of on-line administrative functions. Package cost assumes clients will provide bulk of edited web text. Each client will be provided a list of required text.
- The website design package takes about 3 months to complete.
- This package contains the following components:



* Functional design offering administrative tools utilizing Homestead.



* Domain name & corresponding email accounts or forward of current URL.



* Indepth assessment of client website needs.



* Integration of client's marketing image including color scheme & graphics.



* Web calendar, links, mailing lists, guestbook, blogs, etc...



* Up to ten item store front.



* On-line forms for intake, scheduling, and event registration.



* On-line payment functions through PayPal.



* Custom pages unique to the needs of the client.



* Page title & meta tags including description & keywords for search engines



* Submission of URL to Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc...
- Full color business card design to complement website design.
- Development of marketing image including color scheme, tagline, & graphics.
- This package is designed for physicians & practitioners that have a current health & healing business that are desiring to increase client volume and sales through media & marketing visibility. This package can also be used to develop and design a marketing strategy and corresponding promotional materials for a specific event or program.
- The promotion & media package takes about 3 months to complete.
- This package contains the following components:



* Comprehensive review of past marketing strategies.



* Community demographic review.



* Development of targeted marketing plan & budget.



* Marketing image, graphics, & tagline review/redesign if appropriate.



* New design or update of 3 promotional materials:




Business card, brochure, postcard, poster, media ad, etc.



* Updated press packet & local media strategies.



* Work in conjunction with web designer to optimize web marketing.



* Coaching for local & national network building.
Please note the following exclusions to the above packages:
- Package pricing does not include professional printing, local advertising purchases, graphic image purchases, Homestead web hosting, EMR (electronic medical records) system if elected, legal & CPA counsel, or business licensure fees.
- Long-distance clients are responsible for initiating scheduled strategy meeting phone calls.
- Development of a formal business plan to seek bank or investor funding is not included in the above packages. Assistance will be offered to secure the necessary additional services through a Certified Public Accountant or other professional counsel.
- Amy's services are effectively designed for long-distance consultations. Under extenuating circumstances if a client requests an appropriate on-site visit, the packages does not include travel costs.
- Clients receive invoices noting consulting time rendered. Under unusual circumstances in which total consulting time exceeds package hours. clients will be billed at Amy's regular hourly rate.
